Some folks overindulge:
“I believe there’s a concerted effort between Democrats and the mainstream media that’s openly biased in their favor to discourage the Republican side” – Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).
For those of us who’ve developed a sensibility towards ego overwhelming rationality, a point-of-view that I’ve come to late in life, this seems a matter of a man clutching desperately after his position of prestige as Speaker of the House, even in the strength of a withering reality; and recall, he was a mere back-bencher before elevated to the coveted, by some, seat of Speaker with President Trump’s help.
But I don’t take his statement seriously.
