The Ice Cliff Is A Necessity

The investigation, which is based in Florida, hinges on an unusual and untested legal theory: that previous administrations conspired for years to violate Trump’s rights through a series of investigations, beginning with the Obama administration’s scrutiny of ties between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign.

Of importance is not the alleged violation of Trump’s rights, but the attempt to suppress a man who considers himself so special that only he can … pick your problem. Stop the Iranians, fix the deficit, suppress inflation, oh, any of a number of examples.

In short, his delusions of grandeur are enhanced if he can find evidence that others in seats of powers tried to stop him, but he was too smart for them and became President anyways.

This, to my mind, is part & parcel of his mental decline and fall, an ego-enhancing fantasy which he’s convinced must be true because … that makes him greater. In this age of Trump failing at everything he attempts, it’s a necessary boost to his ego.

And will be reiterated over and over and over by right wing drama queens. It’s an emblem of that greatness denied all of them by the powers of darkness.

Rather than their lethargy, incompetence, and inadequacy.
