Perhaps surprisingly, in the Case of the Reflecting Pool Fiasco, US Attorney Pirro as not been fired for doing the right thing in this Trump Administration, namely dropping the charges of vandalism against David Hearn for want of evidence, as well as evidence that the contractor botched the job.
Not yet, at least.
This failure to victimize a leading member of MAGA, former Fox News host Jeanine Pirro, lowers the chances of the Trump Administration imploding, as a core of MAGA will remain loyal until Pirro, or someone of equal prominence, is unfairly victimized by the childish bully leading the Administration. That existential danger may be why Pirro is still in her job, although I’d guess an ally told Trump not to fire Pirro, rather than he figured it out himself.
But the drama continues until either she’s gone, or she files plausible charges against someone else for either this case, or some other.
