The Lone Wolf Meets a Lady (1942), a moderately amusing tale of a retired diamond thief who can hardly escape his past, with a diamond necklace disappearing and its loser, a lovely lady, bumping into him in her flight from a body.
Doesn’t quite have the right pacing, but a right relief from today’s frenetic blockbuster movies.
