Word Of The Day

Kinism:

Kinism is the belief that Christians have a duty to prefer the members of one’s family – and by extension, one’s ethnic group – and should preserve racial differences in “racially homogeneous families, congregations, and in distinctive social and perhaps even national spheres.”[1] The term is often used to refer to a “movement of anti-immigrant, ‘Southern heritage’ separatists who splintered off from Christian Reconstructionism to advocate that God’s intended order is ‘loving one’s own kind’ by separating people along ‘tribal and ethnic’ lines to live in large, extended-family groups.” [Wikipedia]

Not being Christian, I suppose I shouldn’t comment, but that doesn’t sound like any sort of Christianity of which I’ve ever heard. Noted in “Christians, Pay Attention to This,” Erick Erickson, The Erick Erickson Show:

This entire community, which seemingly found each other on social media, is trying to spread throughout reformed denominations and infest them with kinism, racism, and ethno-nationalism. One cannot say they lack discernment, which is what some people want to charitably do. They intentionally avert their eyes relying on Christian grace and charity to excuse them of their behaviors.
