Well, Walter Einenkel on <em><strong>The Daily Kos<\/strong><\/em> is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/stories\/2017\/3\/30\/1648710\/-Remember-when-Rep-Chaffetz-said-he-was-withdrawing-that-bill-to-sell-off-public-lands-He-lied\" target=\"_blank\">reporting<\/a> that, under the cover of fog, Chaffetz is trying again:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Rep. Chaffetz told the public he was \u201cwithdrawing\u201d his bill on February 2. Eight days later the bill was referred to a subcommittee. <a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/115th-congress\/house-bill\/621\/text\" target=\"_blank\">Here\u2019s a refresher on H.R. 621:<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>To direct the Secretary of the Interior to sell certain Federal lands in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming, previously identified as suitable for disposal, and for other purposes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And here\u2019s the early spin, right in Section 1:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>(a) Short Title.\u2014This Act may be cited as the \u201cDisposal of Excess Federal Lands Act of 2017\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There\u2019s only one thing \u201cexcessive\u201d in our government these days and it\u2019s politicians like Rep. Chaffetz.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It appears Representative Chaffetz is quite the weasel.
