Normally, new legislative elections would have to wait until 2018.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em><strong>WRAL<\/strong><\/em> further notes:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>However, many of the issues at play in this state gerrymandering case are similar to a case involving <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wral.com\/us-supreme-court-to-draw-lines-on-nc-gerrymandering-case\/16297884\/\">congressional districts that went before the court<\/a> in December.
