First, they hosted <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_Nations_Climate_Change_conference#2016:_COP_22.2FCMP_12.2FCMA_1.2C_Marrakech.2C_Morocco\" target=\"_blank\">COP22<\/a>, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, where the <em><strong>Climate Vulnerable Forum Vision<\/strong><\/em> was composed and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecvf.org\/marrakech-vision\" target=\"_blank\">published<\/a>.\u00a0Here&#8217;s one small section:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>We strive to meet 100% domestic renewable energy production as rapidly as possible, while working to end energy poverty and protect water and food security, taking into consideration national circumstances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Now Morocco&#8217;s\u00a0working on meeting that goal. <a href=\"https:\/\/cleantechnica.com\/2016\/11\/28\/cop22-morocco-implement-100-renewable-energy\/\" target=\"_blank\">From<\/a> <em><strong>Clean Technica<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Morocco, the host country of COP22, is one of these 48 countries. Over the past months and years, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldfuturecouncil.org\/roadmap-100-renewable-energy-morocco\/\">World Future Council<\/a> has worked with several stakeholders in the country, developing a policy roadmap to transition to 100% renewable electricity.
