Here’s a mushroom I bought at Byerly’s before prep:<\/p>\n

\nWhy do I bring this up? Because it’s been stemmed<\/em> – and my recipe calls for using the stems to build the mushroom stuffing.<\/p>\n

In essence, this is probably food wastage. Unless the stems were used in other food products, I just have to shake my head at this particular preparation and suggest that wasting food is really a tacky sort of thing to do – and immoral.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
