This is not so much about us. We are doing fine, our customers like us, innovation and productivity are good. It\u2019s more about what I would summarize as \u201cgeopolitical issues\u201d: <strong>the rise of populism and nationalism<\/strong>, global migration, war and terror in some regions of the world, as well as uncertainties about what impact the Fourth Industrial Revolution will have. These developments do not help create an environment that encourages investment and expansion.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>(My bold.)<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Trump and <a href=\"https:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/2016\/10\/02\/which-way-are-we-sliding-ctd-7\/\" target=\"_blank\">President Duterte<\/a>\u00a0in the Philippines are consummate populists.
