Out for an evening perambulation, are we? Mind the rabid raccoons.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

The Toxic Avenger<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (2023) tells the semi-cliche story of the evil businessman whose actions are not community-oriented, but merely self-oriented. The toxic byproduct he produces turns a random citizen of the city into a monster, like magnified versions of the businessman’s henchmen, rock band, and family. Losing his family to horror, the man must take a horrible revenge on the businessman.<\/p>\n

It’s, in some ways, very ancient Greek, yet very giggly.<\/p>\n

The style reminds me a bit of The Suicide Squad<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (2021) in its amiable acceptance of blatantly mutant people, working out the consequences and how to connect them to human evil. If you liked that, you might like this.<\/p>\n
