    Requiring philosophy for STEM majors would not be a radical reform. Indeed, many Catholic-affiliated universities, including my alma mater, require every student regardless of their major to enroll in at least three philosophy courses while matriculated. Indeed, the requirement is a modest correction\u2014a reintroduction of intellectual infrastructure that has eroded under the pressure of accountability regimes and performance metrics.
