The following day,\u00a0The Wall Street Journal<\/em>\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0that a\u00a0U.S. Department of Agriculture<\/a>\u00a0official had called around the big retailers\u00a0urging them to lower their prices<\/a>\u00a0ahead of the Fourth of July weekend, relaying news of Walmart\u2019s promotion to the West Wing and prompting the president\u2019s post.<\/p>\n
