Just to put the nail in this bit of what I’ll call propaganda\u00a0by announcing he’s sending USNS Mercy<\/strong><\/em> to Greenland<\/a>:<\/p>\n

As of late January, the 1,000-bed hospital ship was firmly in drydock at Alabama Shipyard in Mobile, where it has been undergoing scheduled maintenance since July 2025.<\/p>\n

The USNS Mercy, commissioned in 1986, departed San Diego last July for a one-year scheduled maintenance period at Alabama Shipyard under an $18.7 million firm-fixed-price contract for a 153-calendar day mid-term availability, including drydocking. The contract, awarded in June 2025, marked the Mercy\u2019s first visit to Mobile. [gCaptain<\/strong><\/a>]<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\"\"<\/a>What was the purpose of Trump’s ridiculous propaganda, besides distracting from the Epstein Files<\/strong>? I suppose it’s an attempt to drive a wedge between the Greenlanders and the Danes by suggesting inadequate health care is provided by the latter. Since that health care is socialized<\/em>, this propaganda also serves the purpose of hitting at the great evil bugaboo of the right, socialized health care.<\/p>\n

It’s easier to spread evil rumors than to have a civilized conversation. And, yes, there are times I think that applies to both sides.<\/p>\n
