The content is hiding behind a paywall for which I have no ladder, so I checked WaPo<\/em><\/strong>, to which I do have a subscription, although WaPo<\/em><\/strong> owner Jeff Bezos destroyed the basics of such a news source with 30% layoff yesterday: “Jeff Bezos remains committed to Washington Post amid brutal layoffs, top editor says<\/em><\/a>“[1]<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n

But nothing, yet. Nothing at Molly White’s site, Web3 is Going Just Great<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, either.<\/p>\n

So here’s the CoinMarketCap<\/strong><\/em><\/a> trailing month chart for Bitcoin<\/strong><\/em> from a few minutes ago:<\/p>\n

While I was watching it was down more than 30% for the trailing month; down more than 7% for the trailing 24 hours.<\/p>\n

This is so not what you want in a currency, although the month drop of 30% is more worrying than the day. I’m not sure if Bitcoin<\/strong><\/em> and its cousins are considered representative of the United States, or independent thereof, but whatever everyone’s working model may be, this must have shaken things up.<\/p>\n

Or is some grifter harvesting from the sheep?<\/p>\n
