While I know enshittification<\/a> is a popular term, I have to wonder if Facebook<\/strong><\/em> is on its way to another, more vivid term now:<\/p>\n

Body Farm<\/a><\/strong>. (Here’s a bit<\/a> by mortician Caitlyn Doughty on body farm, although it’s not really applicable here.)<\/p>\n

That is, it is becoming a mass of decaying accounts, populated with few, if any, live users, as more and more users are repelled by founder Zuckerberg’s ill-conceived management approach.<\/p>\n

Well, it’s just a thought. In my experience, there are many approaches to managing social media, but the more active approaches are less scalable. It may turn out that national social media platforms are inherently unstable.<\/p>\n
