About a month ago<\/a> I noted that DJT<\/strong><\/em>, the stock of Trump Media & Technology Group Corp<\/strong><\/em>., had been more or less static. That changed yesterday, when the stock took off for a 21% gain. Today, it’s down a bit<\/a>:<\/p>\n

News? I haven’t found any.\u00a0 The company doesn’t appear to have any noteworthy announcements.<\/p>\n

The stock could have been bid up by any of a number of manipulators, foreign and domestic, for any of a number of reasons.<\/p>\n

The company’s main draw, Mr Trump, will soon be President. I’d expect a responsible President to drop off of social media as duties sucked away his time, but Mr Trump, along with a skewed view of responsibilities, uses social media as a pressure relief, so I expect investors who recognize Mr Trump is the primary asset of DJT<\/strong><\/em> will not be disturbed at his upcoming inauguration for its effect on DJT<\/strong><\/em>‘s offerings.<\/p>\n

They may be disturbed by his proposed policies, his chronic mendacity, or quite a few other matters, but those are other matters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
