Proroguing<\/em>:<\/p>\n

Prorogation<\/b>\u00a0in the\u00a0Westminster system<\/a>\u00a0of government is the action of proroguing, or interrupting, a\u00a0parliament<\/a>, or the discontinuance of meetings for a given period of time, without a\u00a0dissolution of parliament<\/a>.
