Extremists, regardless of ideology, share a few characteristics, among them arrogance, a belief that their opinions certainly can&#8217;t be wrong.<\/p>\n<p>This failure to recognize the difficulties of discerning truth and understanding the lessons to be derived from events makes for a very short hop to &#8230; <em>idiocy<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>My congratulations to Rep Scott for his successful discernment of a truth that he may not be entirely proud of.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Noteworthy?
