Stars have many resonant modes and frequencies, and the path of sound waves passing through a star depends on the\u00a0<a title=\"Speed of sound\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Speed_of_sound\">speed of sound<\/a>, which in turn depends on local temperature and chemical composition.
