{"id":36062,"date":"2022-05-28T11:49:44","date_gmt":"2022-05-28T16:49:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/?p=36062"},"modified":"2022-05-28T11:49:44","modified_gmt":"2022-05-28T16:49:44","slug":"thats-an-easy-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/2022\/05\/28\/thats-an-easy-one\/","title":{"rendered":"That&#8217;s An Easy One"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Paul Fidalgo of, and soon to be a high muckety muck, at <strong><em>CSI<\/em><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/centerforinquiry.org\/blog\/any-wakeful-and-appreciative-aliens-uvalde-conspiracy-theories-ufo-wishful-thinking-southern-baptists-abuse-exposed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">has a question<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Oh hey, <em>Newsweek<\/em>\u00a0reports on Mark Sherwood, \u201ca Republican candidate for governor of Oklahoma [who] has called for a total ban on abortion without any exceptions, while\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/gop-candidate-says-life-begins-before-conception-even-cases-rape-1710665\"><strong>arguing that life begins \u2018before\u2019 conception<\/strong><\/a>.\u201d What does that even mean?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I do believe that this has already been answered, Mr. Fidalgo, by the intrepid philosophers of <em><strong>Monty Python<\/strong><\/em>. <em>Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great &#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Monty Python -  Every Sperm is Sacred (Official Lyric Video)\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/k4mGrNGuJTM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While non-alive things may be sacred, sperm flutter about under their own power, and so must be alive.<\/p>\n<p>And Mr. Sherwood had best be careful in treading that particular path. Taken too far, too seriously, too honestly, and he&#8217;ll find that life is not sacred.
