On May 25, [17 year old student J\u00e9an-Marc] Togodgue, [Rita] Delgado and [Jeff] Ruskin took [artist Jasper Johns] up on that offer and made the short drive down Route 41 to the artist\u2019s nearly 170-acre estate. They were met by Johns, assistant Maureen Pskowski and Conley Rollins, a former Goldman Sachs asset manager<\/a>\u00a0who now owns an inn and often serves as an unofficial representative of the artist. Togodgue stared at \u201cSlice\u201d and his drawing, which appeared to be taped to the canvas. Then he looked closer. It was a perfectly executed trompe l\u2019\u0153il; the tape was actually paint.
