One more quote from that <em><strong>NewScientist<\/strong><\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newscientist.com\/article\/2079643-tap-the-placebo-effect-to-unlock-your-bodys-healing-powers\/\" target=\"_blank\">article<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Even when the results go your way, it\u2019s hard to understand why. In the small trial Buonanno participated in, <a href=\"http:\/\/journals.plos.org\/plosone\/article?id=10.1371\/journal.pone.0015591\">59 per cent of the honest-placebo group felt better<\/a>. It wasn\u2019t much better than\u2026 placebo?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And I agree that they shouldn&#8217;t have used the word <em>placebo<\/em>. However, talking about the <em>sugar-pill effect<\/em> isn&#8217;t nearly as sexy.
