The kickback may be money, a gift, credit, or anything of value. Paying or receiving kickbacks is a corrupt practice that interferes with an employee&#8217;s or a public official\u2019s ability to make unbiased decisions. Kickbacks are often referred to as a type of bribery.<em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/k\/kickback.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Investopedia<\/strong><\/a>]<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Used by me <a href=\"https:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/2020\/12\/24\/kickback-watch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. I receive annual training from my employer that emphasizes kickbacks will result in termination.
