{"id":30976,"date":"2020-10-23T15:45:24","date_gmt":"2020-10-23T20:45:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/?p=30976"},"modified":"2020-10-23T15:45:24","modified_gmt":"2020-10-23T20:45:24","slug":"will-there-be-a-link","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/2020\/10\/23\/will-there-be-a-link\/","title":{"rendered":"Will There Be A Link?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I keep wondering if there&#8217;s a link between former MPD Officer Chauvin, alleged murderer of George Floyd, and the right wing nutters &#8211; especially in view of this <em><strong>StarTribune<\/strong><\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.startribune.com\/charges-boogaloo-bois-fired-on-mpls-precinct-shouted-justice-for-floyd\/572843802\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">article<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"Text_Body\">In the wake of protests following the May 25 killing of George Floyd, a member of the \u201cBoogaloo Bois\u201d opened fire on Minneapolis Police Third Precinct with an AK-47-style gun and screamed \u201cJustice for Floyd\u201d as he ran away, according to a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/stmedia.startribune.com\/documents\/Hunter_complaint_affidavit.pdf\">federal complaint made public Friday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Text_Body\">A sworn affidavit by the FBI underlying the complaint reveals new details about a far-right anti-government\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.startribune.com\/inside-minnesota-s-boogaloo-movement-armed-and-eager-for-societal-collapse\/571821151\/\">group\u2019s coordinated role in the violence<\/a>\u00a0that roiled through civil unrest over Floyd\u2019s death while in police custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Text_Body\">Ivan Harrison Hunter, a 26-year-old from Boerne, Texas, is charged with one count of interstate travel to incite a riot for his alleged role in ramping up violence during the protests in Minneapolis on May 27 and 28. According to charges, Hunter, wearing a skull mask and tactical gear, shot 13 rounds at the south Minneapolis police headquarters while people were inside.
