Moncef Slaoui made the remarks on\u00a0the official Health and Human Services podcast<\/a>, released Friday, while being interviewed by Michael Caputo, HHS assistant secretary of public affairs. The interview quickly descended into a lengthy rant about the media.<\/p>\n

In other words, the guy who isn’t doing the lab work, who’s merely providing guidance as chief adviser, is so restive under examination that he will threaten to delay the successful conveyance of an effective vaccine to the public if the press continues to fulfill its duty of investigating possible illegalities.<\/p>\n
