(I fear she did not use <em>gerund<\/em> properly, but don&#8217;t tell her that.) It also reminds me of the observation presented in <em><strong>Calvin and Hobbes<\/strong><\/em>,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><a style=\"outline-width: 0px !important; user-select: auto !important;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gocomics.com\/calvinandhobbes\/1993\/01\/25\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Verbing weirds language.<\/a><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Out of respect for author Mr. Watterson, I shall not steal the comic.
