Too bad it doesn&#8217;t include <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/486958_Arrokoth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>486958 Arrokoth<\/em><\/a> (aka <em>Ultima Thule<\/em>), the second and final target of the <a href=\"https:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/2019\/03\/04\/new-horizons-next-stop-ctd-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>New Horizons<\/em><\/strong> probe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Warp speeds to scale because why not<br \/>Also hey <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/startrekcbs?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@startrekcbs<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jonathansfrakes?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@jonathansfrakes<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BrentSpiner?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Brentspiner<\/a>, Star Trek was one of the sci fi that made me want to do space science, and here I am! \ud83d\udd96 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/VbVBTmsgJn\">pic.twitter.com\/VbVBTmsgJn<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Dr James O&#39;Donoghue (@physicsJ) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/physicsJ\/status\/1227263644594929665?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 11, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>As noted above, <em>Pluto&#8217;s<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Semi-major_and_semi-minor_axes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">semi-major axis<\/a> is roughly 39.5 Astronomical Units (AU), where 1 AU is the average distance from Earth to the Sun. Yeah, I&#8217;m not exactly sure how to characterize the semi-major axis &#8211; <em>average distance<\/em> won&#8217;t be quite right, but close enough for us civilian-types. <em>486958 Arrokoth<\/em>? 44.581 AU. I suppose the animation would get a little too squeeze.<\/p>\n<p>I always wonder why the actors of the show, <em>any<\/em> hit show, are referenced, but hardly ever the scriptwriters &#8211; the storytellers who provide the backbone memorable tale.
