Here I am in St. Paul, MN, looking at the thermometer and it shows 33.4\u00b0F, with an error range of \u00b11\u00b0F if I remember the packaging properly. That measurement reflects the day&#8217;s temperature range, really &#8211; I woke up to see it at 33.4\u00b0 as well.<\/p>\n<p>And the average high for December? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usclimatedata.com\/climate\/minneapolis\/minnesota\/united-states\/usmn0503\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">27\u00b0F<\/a>. We&#8217;re not all that cold.<\/p>\n<p>The real problem is a mix of rain and sleet, which it&#8217;s been doing, on and off, all day. If we have buses going sideways down the road, it&#8217;s no surprise. The rain hits the asphalt that&#8217;s colder than 32\u00b0, freezes, repeat and rinse.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, I haven&#8217;t ventured outside today.
