{"id":26456,"date":"2019-10-23T17:29:15","date_gmt":"2019-10-23T22:29:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/?p=26456"},"modified":"2019-10-23T17:29:15","modified_gmt":"2019-10-23T22:29:15","slug":"hidden-agenda-ctd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/2019\/10\/23\/hidden-agenda-ctd\/","title":{"rendered":"Hidden Agenda, Ctd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I see that Senator McConnell (R-KY) has taken the next step in the <a href=\"https:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/2019\/10\/19\/hidden-agenda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">process of separating himself<\/a> from President Trump, as\u00a0<i><b>Politico\u00a0<\/b><\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2019\/10\/22\/mcconnell-trump-zelensky-phone-call-054744\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2019\/10\/22\/mcconnell-trump-zelensky-phone-call-054744&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1571935937631000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEB2S9n0in7afjlBmtvoeA380o1fg\">reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"gmail_quote\"><p>President Donald Trump claimed earlier this month that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told him that his phone call with the Ukrainian president was \u201cthe most innocent phone call that I\u2019ve ever read.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But McConnell said Tuesday he\u2019s never discussed the phone call with the president.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In combination with yesterday&#8217;s testimony from diplomat Bill Taylor, including this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/context\/opening-statement-of-ambassador-william-b-taylor\/6b3a6edf-f976-4081-ba7f-bce45468a3ff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/context\/opening-statement-of-ambassador-william-b-taylor\/6b3a6edf-f976-4081-ba7f-bce45468a3ff\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1571935937631000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFlUbbUQEbOqXFdkF-p6QKKwABWbQ\">opening statement<\/a>, which is certainly worth a read as it gives the lie to the <em>no <strong>quid pro quo<\/strong><\/em> chant, it appears the walls are beginning to collapse on President Trump.
