Long-time readers know that I’m neither a fan nor a respecter of the Evangelical community, although I do try to be polite in my disbelief and distaste. SemDem on The Daily Kos<\/strong><\/em>, however, is a lot more pointed<\/a> than I am in the wake of President Trump’s disastrous Syrian decision:<\/p>\n

This current slaughter is exactly what Turkey, Russia, and Syria wanted, and they got it\u00a0because Trump is the weakest president in history.\u00a0Trump\u00a0always, always does what dictators tell him to do: rollover.\u00a0He has no spine.\u00a0By the way, those aren\u2019t my words,\u00a0those are the words from the National Security Council official on the phone call.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

For the record, Trump has\u00a0retweeted and thanked Wayne Allen Root, who made the claim that Trump was loved like the \u201csecond coming of God<\/a>.\u201d In\u00a0reality, he is a dangerous sociopath who cages toddlers and now, allows them to be killed for his own nefarious purposes. That isn\u2019t God-like at all. Rather, it is the personification of evil.<\/p>\n

I went to an\u00a0ultra-religious school in my youth run by right-wing Christians. They kept warning us that one day, Satan would return. Even at a very young age, I imagined how they\u2019d fight him when that day arrived.<\/p>\n

Never in my wildest imagination\u00a0did I think they\u2019d worship him<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
