Failing song-writer Judy bluffs her way into the apartment of acclaimed song-writer Phil Hale, and, finding him away on vacation, appropriates his name as co-writer on songs she has written. On the strength of that <em>faux<\/em>-collaboration, her songs are taken up by a radio station and one of its sponsors, the Duchess de Lovely. Yeah, no kidding. From there it becomes a farce of missed connections, misunderstandings, fumbled words, and, of course, a happy ending.<\/p>\n<p>However, the pacing is far too placid to really emphasize the important parts, and the whole story feels very artificial. An artifact from another era, it took me roughly a month to watch, and it only lasts an hour.
