Remember Fox News<\/strong><\/em>‘ Andrew Napolitano and his unexpected bout of honest evaluation<\/a>? A few days ago he let loose another blast, this time on Attorney General William Barr:<\/p>\n

Fox analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano on Wednesday let loose on Attorney General Bill Barr and his handling of the Russia probe in a fiery Fox News op-ed.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is clear that Barr\u2019s four-page letter, about which Mueller complained to Barr and some of Mueller\u2019s team complained to the media, was a foolish attempt to sanitize the Mueller report,\u201d Napolitano\u00a0wrote<\/a>. \u201cIt was misleading, disingenuous and deceptive.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAlso, because Barr knew that all or nearly all of the Mueller report would soon enter the public domain, it was dumb and insulting,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

The judge also addressed the attorney general denying to the House Appropriations Committee that he knew of any criticisms from special counsel Robert Mueller\u2019s team about his characterization of Mueller\u2019s findings, which\u00a0later turned out to be untrue<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWas Barr\u2019s testimony before Congress deceptive?\u201d Napolitano asked. \u201cIn a word: Yes.\u201d\u00a0[TPM<\/strong><\/a>]<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you’re a Fox News<\/strong><\/em> viewer, this has to be a little confusing. After all, Mr. Napolitano plays for the conservative team, so this can’t make much sense in the era of the political cult.<\/p>\n
