I’ve been annoyed all day since President Trump had the temerity to give advice to the emergency personnel fighting the\u00a0Notre Dame fire<\/a>, as\u00a0CNN<\/b><\/i>\u00a0notes\u00a0<\/a>here:<\/p>\n

So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out. Must act quickly!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

One must assume the Parisian fire-fighting corp knows its business.<\/p>\n

But then I realized that Trump\u00a0MUST\u00a0<\/b>stick his finger into all pies, no matter what, because that’s what the overconfident amateur does. He thinks he knows better than the experts, and has to show it. Meddling idiot.<\/p>\n

I see the Parisian fire department told him it would risk collapsing the entire structure. I’d also have to wonder if that would risk spreading the fire further.<\/p>\n

It’s sad to see an old structure go, but everything has its end. I just hope there are no casualties.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
