{"id":1690,"date":"2015-08-04T13:59:51","date_gmt":"2015-08-04T18:59:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/?p=1690"},"modified":"2015-08-04T13:59:51","modified_gmt":"2015-08-04T18:59:51","slug":"belated-movie-reviews","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/huewhite.com\/umb\/2015\/08\/04\/belated-movie-reviews\/","title":{"rendered":"Belated Movie Reviews"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Whilst loitering ill in my ol&#8217; comfy chair,<br \/>\nWhat didst I espy,<br \/>\nBut an old, creepy movie<br \/>\nGlorying in all black and white!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Vampire_Bat\" target=\"_blank\">The Vampire Bat (1939)<\/a>,<br \/>\nWith stars of yore,<br \/>\nSuch as Wray, and Atwill,<br \/>\nDouglas and Eburne!<\/p>\n<p>Prepared was I, for another drear&#8217;<br \/>\nPlot, executed with no excitation or bon<br \/>\nMot, but only to accumulate<br \/>\nA little more green to buy more rear.<\/p>\n<p>So much was the surprise,<br \/>\nNot a character of cardboard,<br \/>\nFaces of character,<br \/>\nCharacters &#8230; memorable!<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, such a lovely twist,<br \/>\nTo please this fevered brain,<br \/>\nI can only give,<br \/>\nThree stars out of four!<\/p>\n<p>(The sound editor should have been shot!)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whilst loitering ill in my ol&#8217; comfy chair, What didst I espy, But an old, creepy movie Glorying in all black and white!
