The politics are irrelevant to Mueller, who now views each of Trump\u2019s antics through a single lens: Does this reveal corrupt intent to disable an investigation into Trump\u2019s conduct? In this case, Trump leaves little doubt as to his motives.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And it occurred to me: <em>does it matter<\/em>? That is, suppose Mueller&#8217;s investigation comes to an end. Then what? He delivers a report. And what if the House <em><strong>GOP<\/strong><\/em> shrugs its collective shoulders and doesn&#8217;t do anything about it regardless of its contents?<\/p>\n<p>I know the headlines are screaming that Trump may fire Mueller at any moment (although that&#8217;s actually up to Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein), but for Mueller, there&#8217;s a big question: supposing he does have evidence worthy of indicting the President.
