Today, <em><strong>WaPo<\/strong><\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/politics\/wp\/2018\/03\/09\/new-evidence-the-stormy-daniels-payment-may-have-violated-election-law\/?undefined=&amp;utm_term=.8b68f2b277a1&amp;wpisrc=nl_most&amp;wpmm=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a> on more news and suggests that it&#8217;s almost certain that election law has been violated.<\/p>\n<p>To which I say, <em>So what?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The election won&#8217;t be invalidated. Trump&#8217;s campaign might be convicted of failing to report an in-kind contribution, they pay a fine, and move on. Maybe Daniels stirs a bit of uproar over sleeping with Trump.<\/p>\n<p>But the evangelical Trump backers have, by and large, lost their moral compasses. They won&#8217;t stop backing him. Nor will anyone else except the Mormons &#8211; and I don&#8217;t think they really care for him anyways.<\/p>\n<p>So why is the media following this so closely?
