This New York Times <\/b><\/i>article <\/a>on Scott Pruitt’s response to to Hurricane Harvey’s damage to Texas and Hurricane Irma’s anticipated damage to Florida and the connection to climate change does not dwell on how Pruitt’s babbling incoherency makes Trump look awful:<\/p>\n

Scott Pruitt, the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, says it is insensitive to discuss climate change in the midst of deadly storms<\/a>. …<\/p>\n

\u201cTo have any kind of focus on the cause and effect of the storm versus helping people, or actually facing the effect of the storm, is misplaced,\u201d Mr. Pruitt said<\/a> to CNN in an interview ahead of Hurricane Irma, echoing similar sentiments he made when Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas two weeks earlier. \u201cTo use time and effort to address it at this point is very, very insensitive to this people in Florida,\u201d he added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Times <\/b><\/i>takes the very respectful position of collecting considered opinions from scientists and other politicians who soberly disagree.<\/p>\n

I say, just laugh at him for desperately avoiding an issue that is squarely in his bailiwick. If he looks like a fool, or a tool of industry, then bloody well call him that and let the fallout hit Trump. The man is laughable for making such a foolish statement, and it invalidates any credentials he may bring to the job. He just wants to avoid the issue because he doesn’t have any sort of valid rejoinder.<\/p>\n
